Their conversation went a little something like this...
Max: What's your name?
Martin: Martin (with a British/German accent, so it came out sounding like "Mah-tin")
Max: What?
Martin: Martin.
Max: Huh? (as puts his ear very close to Martin's mouth)
Martin: Martin.
Max: "Mahtin"?
Martin: Yeah. Haven't you heard of Martin before?
Max: No.
Martin: Well I've heard of Max before.
